Once upon a time, a Muggle boy met a Slytherin girl.
“My, she’s cute,” he thought.
“Oh, he’s handsome,” she observed.
In a bid to impress the girl, the boy insulted all Slytherins and acknowledged the Hufflepuff instead. Shaking her head, the girl tutted, “What a jerk.” And proceeded to show him the true way of wooing one’s fair heart by royally kicking his butt at pool.
Enlightened, the Muggle boy presented the Slytherin girl with a bouquet of white lilies the very next week. “The white flowers and green leaves reminded me of you,” he explained. The girl smiled and off they walked, hand in hand.
After countless trials and obstacles, one sunny day in the spring, the Slytherin girl beckoned to the Muggle boy. “Come, I want to show you to the most magical place ever. A place where you can find your heart’s desire, Muggle or Magical-born, it matters not.”
Together they journeyed to the most wondrous of places, built by dreams and imagination and there, they lived out their heart’s most treasured desires. Their bond grew and their love blossomed.
One sunny day, much like the one so many springs before, the Muggle boy approached the Slytherin girl and led her to the castle in the sky. “Ever since you introduced me to this magical world, I have been able to fulfill so many of my heart’s dreams and desires. There is one more desire that my heart dreams of and I would love very much for you to help me fulfill it.” Kneeling on one knee, the boy promised forever and always. The girl accepted and reciprocated with her own promises of forever and always.
And so, the Muggle Prince and the Slytherin Princess found their castle in the sky, filled with light, laughter and love. |
